In “The Palestine Laboratory”, Australian-German investigative journalist Antony Loewenstein exposes how the current Israeli regime capitalizes on the occupation of Palestinian territory. Complex surveillance systems and new military solutions, fueled by cutting-edge technologies that include autonomous artificial intelligence systems, are tested in real-world conditions amid the ongoing armed conflict in the region. These technologies are subsequently exploited commercially, generating economic benefits that perpetuate the oppressive capacity against the Palestinian people.

Drawing on this experience, Loewenstein will engage in a dialogue with curator and researcher Alexandra Balona, in an attempt to uncover the connections between power and technology through militarization.
