Lago Libidinal

gnration

Under Scale Travels, a collaborative program about art and nanotechnology between gnration and International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), Jonathan Uliel Saldanha presents Lago Libidinal (Libidinal Lake), a multi-scale piece that shows lymphatic network of inorganic derivatives that feeds on the continuous and constant flow of data referring to stock market fluctuations. The installation is an extension system of the stage play of the same name. The surface of an artificial lake serves as a mirror interface where a viral ecosystem reveals a lymphatic network of organic outputs that feeds the continuous flow of data to the fluctuations of the stock market. The body with a hidden light mechanism that interrelates with the hidden mechanism to reveal contaminations and turn them into vectors of red light.
