Dust Devices & berru

Áspero

Theatro Circo

Áspero is an audiovisual performance project that unfolds through the conflict (and conjunction) of two entities: life and machine. These two worlds are often seen as antagonistic. This is, however, a fallacy. Áspero gives stage to the metaphorical staging of the larger system that governs life. This system was used in the construction of the machine. It is on this threshold between what is the organic essence of life and what is considered artificial that this play materialises.

Cláudio Oliveira (Dust Devices) is a composer, sound designer and photography director. Graduated in Cinema and Audiovisual by ESAP, he became interested in electronic music production and creation in the visual arts world from an early age. The combination of these two platforms of expression led him to develop several projects throughout his career related to both, writing music regularly for fiction and documentary films, video games, advertising and installations for several international and national clients such as the Sonae group, Fly London, ModaLisboa and Walk&Talk festival.
